What’s included with every bike rental?
Every rental includes a MIPS-certified helmet, a sturdy U-lock, a front basket, a phone mount, and access to our GPS self-guided tours with turn-by-turn navigation and audio commentary.
Do I need to book in advance or can I walk in?
Both! You’re welcome to walk in anytime during business hours, but we recommend booking online to guarantee your preferred bike and save 20%. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your rental.
Where are you located?
We’re at 618 Shrader Street in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood — just one block from the entrance to Golden Gate Park. Metered parking on Shrader and Stanyan, plus the N-Judah Muni stop is a short walk away.
Are your bikes good for riding to the Golden Gate Bridge?
Absolutely — it’s one of the most popular routes our renters take. Our e-bikes make it effortless, even with SF’s hills. We include a GPS route with turn-by-turn navigation, audio stops at landmarks, and a Sausalito ferry option for the return.
Do you have bikes for kids?
Yes! We have high-quality kids bikes with easy-grip shifting for children who can ride independently, Thule Yepp child seats (ages 1–4) that mount on our e-bikes, Burley Kazoo tag-alongs (ages 4–10), and e-cargo bikes with a built-in bench seat.
What are your hours?
We’re open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM during peak season (April through October) and 10 AM to 5 PM during the off-season. Check our online booking calendar for real-time availability.
What’s the difference between an e-bike and a regular bike rental?
Our electric bikes have a 750W motor and 35+ mile battery range — they make San Francisco’s hills feel flat. Regular bikes are great for Golden Gate Park and flatter routes. Both include all the same accessories and GPS tours.
